The Pings
The Pings is Civic Radar's single inbox for everything that isn't a direct message — Guardian alerts, wellbeing check-ins, recovery disputes, tag scans, and social replies all land in one feed, ranked by urgency first and grouped by recency second, with the same filter and triage tools regardless of what kind of notification it is.
Best on a larger screen: the side-by-side view shows every annotation at once.
Urgent alerts sit above everything else, so a gas leak or a missed check-in is never buried under routine updates.
Favouriting a ping means you can find it again quickly, even after dozens of newer notifications pile in on top of it.
With dozens of pings coming in, keeping each one collapsed lets you scan the whole list at a glance and only open the ones you actually need more on.
Select several pings at once and mark them read, archive them, or delete them together — no need to handle each one by hand.
Any single ping can be archived or deleted right away, without switching into select mode first.
Category, sender, date, and read status all filter from one screen — no digging through separate menus to narrow things down.
Active filters light up in color, so it's always obvious what you're currently looking at.
Before anything's happened yet, a short video explains what pings are and how filtering works — not just a blank screen.
If a search or filter comes up empty, clearing it and starting over is a single tap away.
Archived pings leave your main list but stay reachable anytime, with a link to see the full history.
